Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions​

• "Organizer" refers to Danielle Robinson and Gina Nolan.

• "Instructor" refers to Dawn Guinn.

• "Participant" refers to any individual attending or registering for the workshop.

• "Workshop" refers to The Raq Room: A Quarterly Workshop with Dawn.

​2. Registration & Payment​

2.1 A participant's place in the workshop is confirmed only after full payment is received.

2.2 All fees are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse registration or entry to any participant for any reason permitted by law.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy​

3.1 Please refer to our Refund Policy here.

3.2 Organizer Cancellations:

• If the Organizer cancels or reschedules the workshop, participants may receive a full refund or transfer their registration to a future date.

3.3 The Organizer is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred due to cancellation or schedule changes.

4. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk​

4.1 Dance involves physical exertion and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, falls, strain, or physical contact.

4.2 By participating, the Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the workshop.

4.3 Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to take part.

4.4 The Organizer may refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit for activity.

5. Liability Waiver​

5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not liable for injuries, damages, lost property, or other losses incurred during the workshop.

5.2 Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Organizer, its staff, and venue partners for any claims arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.

6. Photography & Video Consent​

6.1 Photography and video is not permitted, unless given express permission by Organizer and/or Instructor.

7. Conduct & Expectations​

7.1 Participants must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and others.

7.2 The Organizer may remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

8. Intellectual Property​

8.1 All choreography, teaching materials, music selections, and workshop content are the intellectual property of the Organizer or respective rights holders.

8.2 Participants may not record, reproduce, teach, or distribute workshop content without explicit written permission.

9. Venue Rules

9.1 Participants must follow all venue-specific rules, including footwear, food/drink policies, and safety instructions.

9.2 The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen property at the venue.

10. Personal Data & Privacy

10.1 Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for administration, payment processing, and communication.

10.2 The Organizer will not share personal data with third parties except as required by law or essential for workshop operation.

11. Agreement

By registering for and/or participating in the workshop, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
